The National Weather Service offices in Jackson and Louisville are preparing for a potential severe weather day. For those eastern Kentucky areas serviced by the National Weather Service Jackson office including Estill, Jackson, Powell, Montgomery, Rockcastle and Wolfe counties, strong thunderstorms are predicted to hit between 7am and noon Wednesday.
