Woman Killed after Being Hit by Truck in Powell

State police are investigation a death in Powell County. They say 79-year-old Martha Vivien was killed last night on Black Creek Road in Clay City. Police say Vivien was trying to pull in her driveway around 9:30 but missed and drove into a ditch. When she got out of the car, a pickup truck hit and killed her. Police say alcohol may have been a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
