Thieves Target Fire Equipment

Fire officials in Richmond say metal thieves are targeting fire equipment at shopping centers. In the last few days brass fire department connectors were taken from Richmond Center, Richmond Mall, Carriage Gate and two other stores on the EKU Bypass. The equipment is for firefighters to hook up their hoses to raise water pressure. Each connector is worth around 500 dollars.
