Richmond Police say they charged an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old male with theft after they were caught stealing items from a car parked at the Whiskey Barrel on East Main Street. Three men saw the teens breaking into the car Thursday and went after them when they ran away. The men were able to detain the pair until police arrived and were able to recover the stolen items. 18-year-old Koda Nester was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. The 16-year-old was charged with receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, resisting arrested and possession of a controlled substance.
