Teen Killed in Garrard County Crash

Police in Garrard County say a teenager died in a crash yesterday afternoon. It happened before 3 on Sutton Lane near Lancaster. Police say 18-year-old Sarah Wilson died instantly after she was thrown from the car’s back window and the car flipped and landed on top of her. She was not wearing a seat belt. Police say no other cars were involved. The driver and another passenger were not injured. Police do not believe drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the crash. Wilson was a senior at Garrard County High School.
