Swifty Gas Station Robbed

Richmond Police say they arrested a man yesterday evening after he robbed the Swifty Gas station on Big Hill Ave. Police were called to Swifty just before 5 yesterday and told a man entered the store, brandished a pocket knife and demanded money. The man then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police were able to identify the robber as 27-year-old Dustin Lynch. He was found a short while later hiding in a bathroom on Keri Ann Drive. Police also found a portion of the money and the pocket knife in the bathroom. They found the rest of the money in a bedroom. 21-year-old Ronald Penman was also at the residence and was observed with Lynch near Swifty prior to the robbery. Lynch was charged with robbery and Penman was charged with complicity to robbery.
