Richmond Police said today they arrested a man in connection with the July 20, 2008 murder of 78-year-old Joanne Tribble. The suspect’s name has not been released because police say he was 17-years-old at the time of the crime and will be charged as a juvenile for murder. Police were called to Tribble’s home on Teakwood Drive around 1:30 on the morning of July 20, 2008 for medical assistance. Once they arrived, they found Tribble on the garage floor unconscious and having difficulty breathing. Tribble was taken to UK Hospital and died later that day. The medical examiners office determined she died as a result of blunt force trauma to her head. Police say the man they arrest was a suspect early in the investigation. After an interview a the police station today, he was charged with murder.
