Richmond Police say around 3:20 Sunday afternoon; they were investigating a traffic accident and encountered a pick-up truck with 4 people inside. An officer searched the bed of the truck and found a one-step meth lab. The owner and driver 37-year-old Moss Matthews was charged with manufacturing meth. Police say a passenger, 43-year-old Christina Abrams, was trying to hide an item from them. The officer found that item to be someone else’s driver’s license. Police then found Abrams to be in possession of two checkbooks from that person. Those items had been stolen in July or August. Abrams was charged with identify theft and tampering with physical evidence.
