Richmond Man Sentenced despite Victim Request for Parole

Brandon Crowder will be spending the next 5 years in jail after he was convicted of assault and unlawful imprisonment. Crowder was arrested in April, after he’d covered himself in diesel fuel and threatened to set himself on fire. His girlfriend, who was the victim of the assault, asked the judge to give him probation because he was on drugs at the time of the incident.
