State police say Saturday afternoon they arrested a Richmond man for drug trafficking. 43-year-old Douglas Stevens was pulled over for equipment violations around 3:30 on Colonel Road. Further investigations determined Stevens was driving under the influence. Police also found suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Stevens was charged with trafficking meth and heroin, possession of marijuana and other traffic offenses.
