A Powell County judge has sentenced a man for his role in a 2011 fatal crash. Brian Epperson was sentenced to 6 years in prison. Epperson was found guilty of second degree manslaughter and assault in the crash that killed Donald Tharp. Police say Epperson was under the influence of several prescription drugs at the time. Epperson will get credit for time served.
