Richmond Police say just after 4 yesterday afternoon, someone was shot in the stomach near the intersection of Race and Spring Streets. The victim was taken to UK Hospital for surgery. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. Police are searching for the shooting suspect, 21-year-old Tony Ray Donta Gay. Gay should be considered armed and dangerous. He left the scene of the shooting in a black 2001 Ford Taurus with KY license plate 408-LBD. Police do not know a motive for the shooting.
