Police in Richmond report a man was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday. The man said that he and a female were walking on the railroad tracks between Georgia Street and Central Court when a man approached them. The man said he exchanged words with the other man. He said he then heard a gunshot and was grabbed from behind and forced to the ground by the man. The suspect hit him several times in the face with the gun and his fist. He then pointed the gun at the victim took his wallet and his cell phone. The victim has a cut under his eye and had one of his teeth knocked out. The suspect was described as a 5’8 black male, medium build wearing black pants and a black hoodie.
