Man Rescued after Falling in Red River Gorge

Officials say a man was rescued early this morning after he fell in the Red River Gorge. The man was in his 30’s was camping alone in Menifee County when the snow started falling. He slipped and fell 30 feet down a vertical wall at the Indian Staircase. Rescue crews from Menifee and Wolfe County helped the man out. He suffered mild hypothermia and had a broken leg.
