Richmond Police say just after 7 Sunday night, they arrested 35-year-old Frankie Smallwood of Berea. Police say they were called to Baptist Health hospital for reports of a disorderly person. Once there, police found Smallwood near the emergency door entrance cursing and using racial epithets. Police say he was intoxicated. Smallwood spit on one of the officers as they were trying to calm him. He had to be subdued to be arrested. Police also say hospital staff told them Smallwood exposed his genitalia to staff members, tried to punch them and threatened to shoot them. He was charged with alcohol intoxication, indecent exposure, attempted assault, terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
