Madison County Emergency Preparedness Test Exercise Today

Today Madison County is conducting its annual Bluegrass Community Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program drill. Workers were given an emergency chemical event mock scenario that could have happened at Blue Grass Army Depot. Agencies reacted in the way they would if the scenario was real and will be scored. Residents may receive phone calls and hear test sirens today. The Kentucky Emergency Management Agency, Madison County Emergency Management, Blue Grass Army Depot, Madison County various police agencies, hospitals and schools are all participating.
