The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an injury accident involving a Madison County school bus. It happened just before 3:30 Friday afternoon on Paint Lick Road near Cartersville. Police say 28-year-old Brack Morgan lost control of his pickup and hit a school bus head on. The bus had two students on it along with the driver, 54-year-old Ruth Culton and bus aid 40-year-old Kathie Rhodes. Police say Morgan and a juvenile passenger in his pickup were taken to UK Hospital. The school bus driver was also taken to UK Hospital. The bus aid and two students were not injured. Police are saying wet roads were a factor in the crash.
