Eastern Kentucky University Suspends Rugby Team for 2 Years

Last night, officials at EKU announced the rugby team will be suspended from campus for 2 years. EKU has been investigating reports of hazing for about a month. The rugby team will be suspended until August of 2014. School investigators say the team admitted they used a 2×4 to paddle other members, who would then sign their name on the board. Allegations of hazing were brought to university officials attention after someone on campus found blood in the room of a freshman who participated in the paddling.
