Police in Berea say they were called to the Holiday Motel on Wednesday for a report of drug activity. Once there, police were given consent to search a room. Inside they found 133 pills including Oxycodone, Methadone and Xanax. A man inside the room had tried to destroy evidence by putting the pills in the toilet. Police also found marijuana in the room and $727 in cash in the man’s pocket. 37-year-old Amanda Barnes of Paint Lick and 29-year-old Steven Napier of Lexington were arrested. They were charged with trafficking. Napier was also charged with tampering with evidence.
