Berea Police Bring Back Drug Task Force

Berea Police are working to re-assemble the Drug Task Force. The group was shut down last year because
of budgeting. It will resume drug investigations and will include Berea Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson County Police Department, Irvine Police Department and the Winchester Police Department. Officials say the heroin is becoming a problem in the area and they will work to combat it.
