2nd Shooting in a Week in Richmond Leads to Drug Arrests

Richmond Police say just before 7:30 Friday morning they were called to the 100 block of Meadowlark Drive. Police found a woman who had been shot in the lower leg. She was taken to UK Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. At the scene, police detained 27-year-old Shelby Noe III and 28-year-old Justin Howell. A search of their vehicle produced two handguns, a bag with items to make meth, a bag of suspected meth and a hollowed out ink pen. Police also found a container with prescription medication. The two men were charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of meth precursor and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police are still investigating the shooting incident.
