Richmond Police say on Friday, they charged a 17-year-old male for assault involving an incident a few days prior at Nikki’s Tavern. Police say on October 16th, the employee checking id’s outside the bar was approached by 4 men. One of them demanded he give them his bracelet and cell phone. He said no and asked the men to move on. One of them then hit the employee in the left eye twice. The men ran away when people stated coming out of the bar. The employee went to Baptist Health for facial fractures, a broken nose and a laceration that required stitches. Investigation led to the juvenile who was charged with 2nd degree assault.
