$50,000 Complete Bracket Prediction-Terms and Conditions

SafetyNet Promotions (SNP) agrees to reimburse client/sponsor for the value of scheduled prizes awarded in conjunction with client/sponsor's promotional contest.  Participants shall be eligible to receive prize in the amount stated on the contract page in the event that the winning requirements outlined in the following terms and conditions are met. Contest Representative agrees to indemnify and to hold harmless SNP, its affiliates, underwriters, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, against any and all losses, claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable and necessary attorney's fees, to the extent that any such losses, claims, damages, and expenses are due to the acts or omissions of the Contest Representative. For the purpose of this provision, Contest Representative includes any Event Sponsor, Certificate Holder, Contest Official, and/or Contestant.

Client's Pre-Contest Requirements:

  1. Return a signed copy of the terms and conditions acceptance page to SNP at least 24 hours prior to contest.
  2. Payment in full of the entire contract fee (as listed on contract cover page) at least 24 hours prior to start of contest.
  3. Employees or family members of employees of SafetyNet Promotions, or any SafetyNet Promotions vendors or agencies involved in the contest are not eligible to participate.
  4. Employees of the Sponsor are eligible to participate in this promotion.
  5. Contestant(s) will have a maximum of one (1) opportunity to attempt this contest.  Contestants must enter by registering on the provided website using a valid unique email address and mailing address for proof of residence. Contestants found to have entered more than once, are automatically disqualified. Winners must show proof of ID and residence upon acceptance of prizes.  If a winner is unable to provide proof of ID or residence, they are disqualified.
  6. Nothing may be done to enhance a contestant's normal chances of winning this contest.

Contest Execution Requirements and Client Responsibilities for Eligible Reimbursement of Prize(s):

  1. A contestant will qualify for the following schedule of prize awards if they correctly predict the winner of the specified number of games of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament prior to the start of the first game of the NCAA Basketball Tournament's second round of play on March 15th, 2018.
Prizes: $50,000 Prize To be eligible to win the $50,000 prize, one entrant must correctly guess 60 or more of the possible 63 matchups.  If more than one contestant picks 60 or more of the possible 63 games correctly, the $50,000 prize will be divided among the winning contestants.  A maximum of one (1) $50,000 prize will be awarded.  If no submitted entry contains sixty (60) winners or more in the Men's 2018 Men's NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament, then no $50,000 prize will be awarded. $5,000 Prize To be eligible to win the $5,000 prize, one entrant must correctly guess 55 to 59 of the possible 63 match-ups. If more than one contestant picks 55-59 of the possible 63 games correctly, the $5,000 prize will be divided among the winning contestants.  A maximum of (1) $5,000 prize will be awarded.  If no submitted entry contains fifty-five (55) to fifty-nine (59) winners or more in the Men's 2018 NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament, then no $5,000 prize will be awarded. $1,000 Prize To be eligible to win the $1,000 prize, entrant must correctly guess each team that advances to the Round of 16 Regional Semis. If no submitted entry contains each team that advanced to the Round 16 or Regional Semis of the Men's 2018 NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament, then no $1,000 prize will be awarded. 2. Points for correct picks are awarded as follows: (total points possible 168). Round 1-1 pt, Round 2 2-pts, Round 3 4-pts, Round 4 8-pts, Semi-Finals 12 pts, Championship 16 pts. 3. Points for correct picks in the Second Chance Round of 16 contest are awarded as follows: (total points possible 104). Round 3-4 pts, Round 4 8-pts, Semi-Final 12 pts, Championship 16 pts. 4. If needed, total score of the championship game will be used as the tie breaker for the Overall Contest and the Second Chance Round of 16 Contest.  If there is still no winner, a drawing will be held. 5.  If there is a tie for the winner, there will be a drawing to determine the winner. 6. Entries--The maximum number of entries may not exceed that which is stated on the contract page.  You may purchase an additional contract int he event additional entires are needed.
  • All entries must be made via the website link provided by SafetyNet Promotions, no other method of entry is available.
  • All entries for the above mentioned prizes must be made prior to the start of the first game played int he NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Second Round of play on Thursday March 15, 2018.
  • No other NCAA Men's Basketball prediction entries, other than the official entries submitted by the client to SNP will be acknowledged regardless of the accuracy of the prediction.  It is the responsibility of the contest administrator to ensure all eligible score predictions are submitted to SNP on time.
  • At the conclusion of each designated game, the SNP representative will compare the entries received with the official scorer's report from the respective league office.
7.  The following restrictions apply to the administration of this event:
  • Any entry which is not received by SNP prior to the start of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament second round of pay on Thursday, March 15, 2018 will be disqualified and no claim will be acknowledged for that entry.  Client will assume all liability for any entry which is not submitted to SNP prior to the start of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
8.  Failure to adhere to any of the terms and conditions outlined herein will render this contract null and void, and no claims will be acknowledged. 9.  Any additional prizes may be provided by you for either our Round of 16 Second Chance game or for your top point receivers.  If you choose, we will place these prizes on the webpage; however, these prizes will not be provided by SafetyNet Promotions and are the responsiblity of you.

Claim Procedure

  1. In the event of a claim, client must
    1. Notify SNP within one (1) business day from the date on which a contestant successfully completes the prize winning requirements.
    2. Provide SNP with the name, address, and phone number of the eligible contestant
    3. Provide SNP with a completed W-9 form
  2. In order for the grand prize to be awarded, the winner of each game of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament must be the exact same teams predicted by the contestant and submitted to SNP prior to the start of the first game of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
  3. The winning contestant must be the participant who originally participated in the contest. No family member, friend, or any other person will be allowed to accept the prize on behalf of a winning contestant.
  4. Certified affidavits and recorded statement may be required from the contest administrator and any witnesses to verify that all contract terms and conditions outlined herein have been met.
  5. In the event of a claim, SafetyNet Promotions may require anyone involved in this promotion to pass a polygraph exam (at the expense of the sponsor) given by a professional polygraphist for further verification. A polygraph exam which reveals any fraudulent activity or non-compliance with any of the terms and conditions outlined herein may result in a claim denial.
 

Contest Dates, Cancellations, Revisions and Schedule of Prize Awards

  1.  If this event were canceled due to a force of majeure which prevents the conducting of the event, assuming no attempts at winning the grand prize were initiated, the client is entitled to a full refund less a minimum $750.00 contract fee plus any expenses incurred.  The client may reschedule the event at no additional cost.
  2. SafetyNet Promotions must be notified in writing of any canceled or rescheduled event at least 2 weeks in advance of the originally scheduled contest start date.
  3. A winner is liable for any tax consequences resulting from their acceptance of any prize associated with this contest.
  4. Maximum number of winners per occurrence for the maximum aggregate limit cannot exceed those state on the contract page.
  5. In the event of a claim dispute, each party agrees to the following claim settlement process. Both parties specifically waive their rights to any legal jurisdiction to settle such dispute(s) in any venue other than Gwinnett County, Georgia. Client/Sponsor acknowledges responsibility to make contestant(s) aware of this requirement.
