Richmond Fire officials say 2 people were hurt last night after a motel stairwell collapsed. It happened around 10:45 at Super Seven Motel on Northgate Drive. Two people were on the outdoor staircase when it fell. They were taken to Baptist Health Hospital. Once of those people may have suffered

The Danville Fire Department says a home on Venetian Way was destroyed by fire early this morning. The fire started around 1am. Firefighters believe it is suspicious and have asked state police arson investigators to assist them.
