CMA Award winner AI Snyder and Classic Country...Together Again!!

Al Snyder is a 36 year veteran of radio broadcasting. His career started at WNVL, in Nicholasville, Kentucky while still
a student in college. He began work full time on the afternoon of his college graduation. Some years later he would
own that station and put WCKU, 102.5 "on the air" broadcasting from Jessamine County, Kentucky.

Throughout his career, Al has conducted interviews with over 100 country music artists. He has also worked with and
produced national radio specials with many top personalities including Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson,
Collin Raye, Trisha Yearwood, Marty Stuart, Restless Heart, Doug Stone and numerous other Country and Bluegrass
entertainers.

AI's love of music and attention to broadcast excellence was rewarded in 1982 when he was named the Country Music
Association Broadcast Personality of the Year. That same year he was presented with a special merit award from the
Kentucky Broadcasters Association. In 1984, he was a finalist again for the Country Music Association Broadcast
Award. Two years later, in 1986, he was elected by his peers to serve on the Country Music Association Board of
Directors. While on the board, Al was involved with the Discover New Country campaign. He traveled with the other
members of the board to London, England, for introduction of 10 new music acts to Great Britain.

In 1990, Al moved to Nashville full time, and began work in radio syndication. He was Director of Affiliate Relations for
Emerald Entertainment and Sound Studios on Music Row. In addition, Al has worked for such shows as The Road,
Nashville Live, The Saturday Night House Party with Gerry House, The Radio Cafe Hour from Branson, Missouri,
Thunder Road, American Acoustic Country and Into The Blue. His syndication work has been with companies
including Tribune Entertainment in Chicago, Stillman and Company, United Stations Radio Network in New York, the
Bluegrass Radio Network in Nashville and Cafe Productions in Branson, Missouri. Ten years ago Al established his
own business, Al Snyder and Associates. His company offers syndication services to broadcasters throughout the
United States.
In 2006 Al was honored with a Lifetime Membership in the Country Music Association. The award was presented by
Country Music Association CEO Tammy Genovese in Nashville."
After more than three decades as broadcaster, producer, promoter, and syndication expert, Al Snyder continues to
promote Country and Bluegrass music through radio, and to radio, on a daily basis.
